Patriotic Fourth of July fireworks rocked the Magic Kingdom and beyond
Featured, Video — By sford on July 5, 2010 at 1:08 amAlthough many guests at Walt Disney World enjoy the Magic Kingdom’s July 4th fireworks show up-close in the park, others enjoy the spectacle from across the Seven Seas Lagoon at the Polynesian Resort’s beach area.
It’s even an annual tradition with many people fortunate enough to take part in the event. And, for seasonal passholders who may be blacked out of park attendance at this time of the year, it’s a great way to still see the show without paying for the price of one-day admission.
Guests there also see something people inside the Magic Kingdom might not — the water parade of red, white and blue flags and stars to compliment the show.
To give an idea of this annual patriotic event, here’s a brief video of some of the highlights of the 2010 fireworks at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, as seen from the beach at Polynesian Resort.

I was outvoted last night as to where we would watch the fireworks. I so wanted to be sitting on the beach at the Poly with an umbrella drink watching Disney fireworks.. but boo hoo.. I didn’t get to go..
Thanks for posting this. Maybe next year..
We watched from Ft. Wilderness & it was absolutely wonderful, except for the soundtrack talking about 15 strips instead of 13 strips! What a goof on Disney’s part! That’s a big OOPS!!
That’s STRIPES, not strips…Oops on my part…thought that looked wrong. : (
I think you need to get your ears checked. The narrator most definitely said 50 stars and 13 stripes. I watched the show on both the 3rd and 4th and it was correct both times. I even checked the online videos of the performance.
It’s cool they can actually do shapes like stars and hearts now. Not too long before we have Gandalf’s dragon swooping around. (Foolish Hobbits!)
Saw this great show from the balcony @ Contemporary both the 3rd and 4th. AWESOME show, thanks Disney, this is why we keep coming back!!
wow! thanks to who ever took the, video.
that really is a good place,to watch
