Disney’s Dreamers Academy: Singer Mary J. Blige to give keynote address
Celebrities, Dewayne Bevil, News — By Dewayne Bevil on February 8, 2010 at 2:09 pmSinger Mary J. Blige will be the keynote speaker for this year’s Disney’s Dreamers Academy. The event, in partnership with radio personality Stever Harvey, brings 100 high school students to Walt Disney World for seminars and a peek of real-world experience from corporate executives from withint and outside of Walt Disney Co.
This year’s edition, Feb. 11-14, will also include celebrity input from singers Cupid, Kimberley Locke, Ruben Studdard, gospel group Trin-i-tee 5:7, actors Roshon Fagen (Camp Rock), Daniel Curtis Lee (Disney’s Zeke & Luther), Chris Massey (Zoey 101), Kyle Massey (Cory in the House), Tamara Mowry (Sister, Sister), CNN correspondent Christopher Lawrence, producer Will Packer (Stomp the Yard) and celebrity trainer Harvey Walden.
Sherri Shepherd (The View) will host the celebrity conversations, while singer Yolanda Adams will speak at the opening ceremony.
