Our friends at Stitch Kingdom have posted a picture of a 3-D model of the upcoming Fantasyland expansion at Magic Kingdom. Click here for the SK observations.

Below are the pics of the model and  previously released (by Disney) rendering. The angles are a bit different, but it’s still fun to compare and contrast.

Be sure to check out the closeup shots and this model as well as previous rendering releases in our photo gallery.

I thought “Dueling Dumbos” was going to be the political debate add-on to The Hall of Presidents.

Hmmmmmm… Sell beer at the Magic Kingdom instead if you want more people visiting.

    • Joe says:

Only if you are a drunk… Beer doesn’t need to be freely available. Too many people will be idiots and go overboard with it. Its amazing that folks think alcohol is needed for a good time.

In reference to your Stupid comment!! MK is a kids Park since the day it opened and NO amount of beer or booze is going to make the park better. I like many of the comments made .. You must see this park through a childs eyes Be a kid when you go there Not and Adult!!

    • Mr Freeze says:

This park is NOT meant for Alcohol or Alcoholics so if someone fits this personality than STAY away from the MK Park!! Drink at home where you will only hurt yourself and not an Innocent kid or other person!! BOOZE KILLS anyway when used wrong!!

Can you guys/girls please take this garbage over to Myspace or Facebook? Why are you wasting your time and effort with a really ridiculous thread?

  • Cranberry says:

Joe, it is for the poor parents that have to suffer through the parks. Just because you can’t control your drinking don’t ruin it for the rest of us…

  • Native says:

Interesting… lots of green space like at Universal. That’s a new look for pavement heavy ‘Fantasyland’. And I like the new details with the extra castle stuff. You can never have too many castles in a fairytale kingdom. I guess we’ll have to see if the rides are any good though – some of the newer ‘attractions’ have been real duds IMHO.

The big difference between Disney and universal is cleanliness. Disney is so clean and Universla is dirty, worn and needs much more upkeep.

      • semjase says:

Once difference I have notice is that at Universal, you have a lot more things to occupy you while you wait in line for things. where at Disney, not so much…

Where’s Mickey and Minnie’s houses? They were where Pixie Hollow will be. Nooooooooooo.

The only thing from Toontown Fair that will remain is Goofy’s Barnstormer, although it may receive a new name and theming. Mickey’s and Minnie’s houses may be relocated to other parts of the park, but this is unconfirmed. Everything else will be razed. Toontown was supposed to be temporary anyways.

Or, Cranberry, as an alternative, people couletry having actual fun with their children, instead of just “suffering through” that time. It’s amazing how much fun even an adult can have if they try to see the parks through the eyes of kids.

They sell alcohol at Epcot and I’ve never seen it cause a problem. It does get a little rowdy during the food and wine festival, but that’s part of the fun.

Cranberry sounds like a real barrel of fun. You know, if the parks are that much of a chore for you, why don’t you just go to the beach or something. You don’t have to go to MK.

Budgets have increased substantially since Eisner and Paul “penny pincher” Pressler left the company. Expect top notch rides and theming when this opens. Just the fact that they’re moving forward with this project shows a serious commitment to improving the “guest experience”. They could’ve left it the way it is and still made a ton of money.
