Dewayne Bevil, News — By Dewayne Bevil on November 10, 2009 at 2:13 pmThe Disney Parks blog has posted interior shots and a few details of the refurbed Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom.
The short version: game play in queue to enhance storyline. Folks will deflect asteroids. These interactive moments last 90 seconds, then break for 90 and so on.

Space Mountain has been closed since spring. There are unofficial whispers of soft opening this week but no official announcement from Disney World.
