It is that simple. Don’t spend your money there…spend it somewhere else if you want. But realize that everywhere you go there are going to be expenses that are up to an individual to decide if they want to pay it or not.

Dinner out a restaraunt: Prices have gone up, portions have gone down in size. Do you go there and eat and complain or do you stay home and eat for about the same cost? (consider grocery prices going up, time spent cooking, cleaning up etc)

Sea World: raised their prices as well. It is a park with limited options on where to go and how often do you really need to go anyay? Seen Shamu once, seen him a few times…same whale different day.
At least at Disney you have 4 parks with different themes to waste your money on.

Lets talk about groceries, they have gone up as well…no one complains about that though. Why? Because FOOD is a necessity…theme parks are not.

As for for Wheelchair rentals ..why should they be free? They weren’t free when they were purchased, they are not free to maintain for safety and state codes. They are not free to charge with electricity. Are your strollers free when you get them at the store for your kids?

Lockers are a convience..but why are they needed. Store the extra baggage you brought with you under the stroller and avoid renting a locker. Have the person sitting in the wheelchair be the baggage carrier.

Just a few thoughts from someone who doesn’t go to Disney because I choose not to spend my money there. Oh..and like most people in the state I used to work for the mouse and think they are awesome..however, that does not mean I am blinded by loyalty.
They provided a great place to work at one time and I remember those days fondly..but I am not going to pay for something that is not worth the price.
